Dillon Road Self Storage of Hilton Head Island, S.C., has recently expanded. The 24,200-square-foot addition at 159 Dillon Road brings the property’s total leasable space to 71,830 square feet, according to the source.
The expansion comprises 21,400 square feet of climate-controlled space and 2,650 square feet of traditional storage. The site also includes eight units designed specifically for vehicle storage. A second project is underway to add 38 covered vehicle-parking spaces, the source reported.
In addition to self-storage, Dillon Road Self Storage offers U-Haul truck and trailer rentals and car-towing equipment. It also has a retail store that sells moving and packing supplies.
The facility is managed by the Bradshaw Group Ltd., which also oversees Beach City Self Storage in Hilton Head Island and Bluffton Self Storage of Bluffton, S.C. Based in South Carolina, Bradshaw is a 27-year-old commercial real estate company that offers property acquisition, development, leasing, maintenance and management services.
