PODS Enterprises signed a multi-year agreement with Wabash National’s DuraPlate Products Group to build and service all PODS' traditional portable-storage container requirements. The production agreement with Wabash National will allow PODS to continue their tremendous growth, while ensuring that the PODS containers are unsurpassed in the industry. PODS has more than 137,000 containers in use today.

"Since DuraPlate is made from steel and plastic materials, each unit will be 100 percent recyclable and are highly eco-friendly," said Tom Ryan, PODS president and CEO.

The new containers have a steel-frame construction with recyclable panels made of steel skins and a high-density polyethylene core. They are available in three sizes: 8-by-8-by-7 feet, 8-by-8-by-12 feet and 8-by-8-by-16 feet. Delivery to the field is expected as early as January 2009. For more information, visit www.pods.com.
